South Africa’s femicide rate is five times higher than anywhere else in the world. Yet, there is a stigma around domestic abuse and women often feel ashamed to seek help from a real person. To combat this, IDEA ENGINEERS and Sage decided to step up and address the silence by giving women a safe space to express their voices by developing a chatbot called rAInbow.
