Sage Rainbow
In South Africa, one in three women are affected by domestic violence. The femicide rate in South Africa is five times higher than anywhere else in the world. Yet, there is a stigma around domestic abuse and women often feel ashamed to seek help from a real person.
Painfully aware of this truth, Sage and its partners decided to step up and address the silence by giving women a safe space to express their voices by developing a chatbot called rAInbow.
IDEA ENGINEERS assisted SAGE in launching an integrated PR and social media campaign to raise awareness about domestic violence in South Africa, and to highlight the world-first rAInbow service for domestic violence victims.
